Sumitomo Pharma (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.Suzhou factory obtained ISO14001 certification

On 8 April 2021, Sumitomo Pharma (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. obtained ISO14001:2015 certification, an international standard for environmental management systems. The company performs repackaging of imported pharmaceuticals (tablets and injections) at the Suzhou factory in the Suzhou industrial park, Jiangsu province, and the business activity complies with to this certification.

 

The third-party company Shanghai NQA Certification Co., Ltd. executed the acquisition of ISO14001:2015 certification and conducted the phase 1 review (document review) in January 2021 and the phase 2 review (on-site review) in March 2021. Our company fulfilled the standard conditions.

 

When acquiring ISO14001:2015 certification, the company followed the environmental policy of "complying with local environmental regulations, committing to energy conservation and environmental protection, striving to achieve pollution prevention and continuous improvement, and assuming corporate responsibility and obligation for the environmental protection. The company fulfills its corporate social responsibilities by developing energy conservation measures, reducing the environmental burdens by reducing gas and electricity consumption, and working on pollution prevention measures such as industrial waste disposal and industrial emissions management.

 

In order to contribute to solving the global environmental problems, the company continues to ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of the environmental management system in compliance with the ISO14001:2015 standard, work on the improvement of the environment, and make contributions to the development of local communities through the business activities.
